Fall Festivities

Very busy weekend!! Saturday night we had a fairy at kids nite out. Moma didn't take any pictures because someone hid her camera.....hmmm.. Thankfully found it Sunday!! Sunday night was Hallelujah Night at our home church Higher Ground. Oh we all had so much fun. Guess who won first place for best costume? Thing One!!!

More than Just a pet.....

This week we have lost an amazing friend. A part of our family. He guarded over us, loved us unconditionally, licked our wounds (literally) and owns a piece of our hearts forever. Remembering when William first laid eyes on him, he was Chloe's 2nd born and only fawn and William claimed him that day. I, on the other hand was "oh no! We've got two and that's enough!" Then at six weeks our little Razzy had a neck injury and we had to keep him apart from the others.....well you know the rest of the story! He then became a moma's boy and for the last two years "Sophie's Razzy." I'm so glad he was a part of our lives. He has added so much joy and love to our family, if only for a little while.

2010 Flood

They said it wouldn't happen for another hundred years. Guess they added one too many zero's to that estimate. We are very fortunate that it was not as bad as 99', but it was still bad. More than 100 homes and 40 businesses affected by the flooding.
