Six Month Anniversary

It's almost surreal. Six months ago today I experienced a feeling that would run through my veins forever. An instant connection took place. Six months ago today, I became a mom. Going to China feels like a distant memory, but that feeling..... that feeling of unconditional, never ending, life long love is stronger than ever. We were made for each other. It was a very long and hard journey, but I wouldn't change a thing!

Indeed it was a very long hard journey - but so worth it!!!

A very happy 6 month to you, William and Sophie. I try to close my eyes and remember that day in that conference room - the feeling, the smell, the excitement, the thrill. It's so hard to encapsulate all of the emotion that went on during that memorable day, but what a thrill to be sitting here celebrating 6 whole months together as a family - as if it were always this way!!!

Congratulations on your 6 month anniversary. I like the picture of you and Melinda sitting beside each other in the conference room anxiously waiting the babies arrival. Sophie sure is growing, enjoy, they grow up too fast.

Wow, she's so grown up! Beautiful too!
Six months has gone by so quickly (of course, I do not have ANY fond memories of that conference room!!!). Now, wish we could all go back!
Life is grand!
Love to you all - celebrating six months is surreal - I agree!

What sweet dresses!

My husband and I had thought about adoption in either China or Korea (as he speaks Chinese and I speak Korean) but the hoops we would have had to jump through would have aged out my hubby. So we went in vitro (just once) and it took -- so there are miracles all over!
